Visa

All travelers to Taiwan must have valid passports. In addition, travelers from some countries to Taiwan will need to obtain visas in advance.
Tourist visas for the Taiwan, Republic of China can be obtained from R.O.C. embassies, consulates, or designated representative offices in foreign countries.

Visa Exempt Entry
Visa-free entry for a period of 14 days are granted to citizens of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherland (Holland), New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Singapore, Sweden, U.K., U.S.A. and Switzerland with passports valid for six months and onward or return tickets.

Landing Visa
Landing visa for a period of 30 days can be obtained from the Branch office of Bureau of Consular Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the C.K.S. International Airport to citizens of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands (Holland), New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K. and U.S.A.

Please apply your visa at that embassy or consulate. But you may need an invitation letter from us. Please e-mail us your request and indicate your:

1. Full Name (same as your passport) 
2. Nationality
3. Organization/Department/Position Title
4. Gender
5. Contact Address (to receive the invitation letter)
6. E-mail Address
7. Your APRICOT 2003 registration "Transaction ID" and "Date of your registration". 

Attention: We could not provide the invitation letter if you have not registered your participation.

Please contact us to apply a landing visa to be obtained at C.K.S airport upon your arrival.

1. Please download this "Personal Data Form" and complete it.
2. Attach your duly completed "Personal Data Form" and indicate your APRICOT 2003 registration "Transaction ID" and "Date of your registration", then e-mail to us  before 2003/1/15 for 1st round application. Or send before 2003/1/24 for 2nd and final application. Any landing visa application sent after 2003/1/24 can not be guaranteed for successful application.

2. Mainland China & Mongolia
Participants from Mainland China and Mongolia please contact us  for visa application assistance. Please kindly be noted that visa application for participants from Mainland China needs to be filed two months before your arrival, and participants from Mongolia must file application two weeks before arrival.
